Demographic Data
Like nearly every other site on the Internet, Stencyl collects and logs, by default, a small amount of information* about you for use in aggregate demographic surveys. This information is automatically transmitted by your browser without your consent. By using http://www.stencyl.com and its associated websites, applications, and chatrooms, you agree that we may use this data in whatever capacity we deem to be useful to us.
Additionally, Stencyl uses third-party user tracking systems, namely the Analytics tools provided by Google. Stencyl has no control over how Google uses the information that it collects. By using Stencyl's Web Resources, you agree that Stencyl has no control over how this information is used.
* This information includes your IP address, your operating system and browser information, and from what referring site you came. Nearly every site on the Internet logs this data.
Personal Information
Stencyl uses cookies to track your username if you have registered a StencylPass. You may delete these cookies or refuse them at any time, but you may lose the functionality of a user account. At this time, the only way to login with your StencylPass is to accept Stencyl's cookies.
By signing up for a StencylPass, you can elect to provide Stencyl with personal data, including your e-mail address, age, and/or other items that can be used to identify you personally. Stencyl does not require the disclosure of any personal information other then an e-mail address to partcipate in any activity. Stencyl will not deliberately share any personally identifiable information collected through a StencylPass account with any third party, including advertisers or affiliates. Stencyl, at its discretion, may elect to share a minimal amount of user account information, including but not limited to your username and IP address, with affiliates to facilitate tracking between network sites.
You may elect to delete all of your personal information from Stencyl's systems by contacting a moderator through the e-mail addresses listed on our contact page.
