Description
Controls:
- Aim and shoot with mouse
- Reload with space
- Select weapons with number keys
- Shooting and moving the sight around will decrease your accuracy. The sight ring shows your current accuracy.
- Increasing strength makes recoil affect accuracy less
- Increasing dexterity increases your aim in several ways
- Increasing intelligence increases the number of XP you gain from killing monsters
Upgrades in town will persist over games. Early game you should aim to invest in the school systems so you get better starting characters.

After reading on the kongregate forums that you can't use stencyl for anything I thought I should give it a try. Normally I use XNA or Unity for making games but I used to follow the Scratch-project a couple of years ago and managed to teach my then 9.year old cousin some basic programming with it.
I thought that now as the technology has matured a bit I should give it a try and see if it could work for kids. Maybe it's a little bit hard but might work with some coaching.
The game itself is a defence shooter with progression over games. I think I might publish to kongregate if people like it.

This game dosen't save for me, it only saves on kongergate. I got banned from there, and now It crashes every time I go there, so I cannot play this game.

@Jindatesha Thanks for the feedback! Damage is calculated RPG-style so 1D6 1 for example means 1 to 6 damage 1 (so 2 to 7 then)
The spider has a really small crit hitbox so you need the sniper rifle to hit him and even then it's hard. If you're going for a streak you may be better off not shooting him as he doesn't do much damage anyway..

nice game man, i dont like 2 things: i dont know where to find out what D means ...how is damage even calculated...obv school and attributes are effecting but still...thats confusing , second: i havent found a hit box for the spider/ants so...they ruin any crit-streak .
Overall its a nice game...to unlock guns you have to play forever....the good ones anyway... well i havent tried the sniper nor the AK

@robster yeah I'm looking into monetization right now, we'll see what happens :) Let me know what you make when you start your game! I am using a lot of art from www.opengameart.org myself, I strongly recommend it as that lets you make games instead of art. The zombies for example are from there, you can see the link to them in the credits in case you want to have zombies in your game

you should upload a copy to gamejolt, they give you a little bit of money from ad sharing, and it would give this game a bit more attention, as it is quite fun to play. I am thinking about making a game similar to this one, and similar to typing of the dead.

Thanks for the feedabck robster! The game isn't finally balanced yet so knowing when it's too easy or too hard is very important! I think you're absolutely right that it may be a bit too easy til you get to the polarbear. I'll look into making the bosses a little tougher. My intention is that you SHOULDN'T reach the polarbear on your first try so that you will have increased the school, wall strength etc before you reach it the first time.
After the polarbear the bosses are even tougher :)
And yes, strength reduces recoil, dexterity makes your precision better (makes the sight ring decrease faster) and intelligence makes you get more xp for kills and crits

nice game, please label what the attributes do, strength reduce recoil... intelligence increases range ? and dexterity increases reloading time ? I assume. i got pretty far in the game and it started being a breeze, and then a polar bear came in and there was no way i could stop him.
