Description

My tribute to Hudson's Adventure Island.

Controls (will be shown before intro when game'll be finished):
Start - Enter
Select - Backspace
Button A (jump) - Z
Button B - X

Please note that this isn't finished version by any means - it doesn't contain many important elements such as "Choose an Egg" screen (here it'll be rather "Choose a box") or enemies (this because I don't have graphics for them yet)

Freaking Awesome, I love me some Adventure Island. And the face he makes after he shoots is great. He's all like, "Oh God what have I done!?"

Awesome tribute. You pretty much had me sold at the title screen, but it just kept getting better.

@HwoDragon: The strawberries do not kill you. Nor does the first strawberry in Level 1 -- but the brown spike on the ground immediately following it sure does!

Its cool but I dont understand it. The strawberrys kill me? When i touch the one on lvl 1 I die, but the others give me extra time.

Yea... when you die in the later levels you lose the powerup attack so I ran outa lives ironically on the first stage that gave another the one with 2 snails making out and I accidently missed the heart while jumping and hit the snail

choas81, actually it is based on Hudson's Adventure Island more than Mario Bros. And about continue - eventually password system will be developed (as you can see on menu) which will serve as continue (on game over screen you'll have password for level you were on).

Very nice game. Reminds me of Mario Bros. I would add a "Continue" button when you loose all of your lives. Every 1,000 points lets you continue. 9/10

jamesvhyde, you kidding, right? Because if not, you should see earlier version of this level where enemy was placed in impossible place (after first gap)

Sonicspeed53: I don't. Other people do. But to answer your question it is made with soft called FamiTracker.

Alexin: Unfortunately not all music here is made specially for AC. To be hones, only main menu and Level 3 music are - rest are rips from Adventure Island 2 by HudsonSoft.
