Description
Now uses a modified basic Follow Line to determine which of the 8 animations to show based upon the direction.
This is a test of workflow for my new game.
The game will require 8 way movement for the main character in a forced perspective top down view. I tried to start doing the animation frames for the walking for each direction by hand, but it quickly became apparent that this would be a massive job. Even more so with the fact that all the enemies would need to same amount of animation frames.
This (pre-made) lego man was created in Blender, rendered and exported to sprite sheets (using an addon called Spritify), then imported into Stencyl as frames.
With Blender (once I've done the animation poses for the main character), I can re-skin and render all the enemies with minimal work.

Your skill with blender is getting better! But I think the lego man is moving a little bit fast compare to what you see with the animation. But this is a really nice example. After seeing this, I want to retry learning blender!
