I know what you mean. But I planned on keeping the sprites from the last game for DynaDan 2, and maybe DynaDan 3 (not sure yet). But I do understand where you're coming from.

I'd suggest attempting to create new sprites for this game, as opposed to reusing the old ones from the last. I played your first and it was hard to tell there even was a walking animation because 'walking' was just the character tapping his feet up and down 1 pixel. I understand this is one of your first games, but it makes a world of difference if you spend more time on art.
