Description
Play as a square about to walk up the stairs to heaven. God is not exactly as nice as you thought he would be, however.
Arrow keys to move and jump.
Hope you enjoy!

I revised the game a little bit. I adjusted the collision detection as best as I could, which wasn't much. I also moved the invisible barrier after the spikes in order to try and solve gmvasco's problem, even though I never encountered it in game. After that, I changed some text at the ending to try and better convey the game's point about fate and stuff. On reflection, I think I tried to make a deep game without realizing that because my game is so minimal, the message it sends ends up being minimal as well, or even pretentious. I should probably also note that I typed the ending like I did because I thought it would be fun to see God as the near exact opposite of how I believe God would function, if he even exists.

Simple, elegant, nice concept. Bit tricky though! Seems like a LOT of games on this site are a bit on the tricky side. Not sure if that's a deliberate attempt to invoke the retro spirit of unforgiving challenges, or just because the only person to play them before sharing is the creator themselves :)

I got stuck (horizontaly) and could never move from there. Can't go to heaven or hell. Well, I guess limbo is a fair punishment for my sins. Nice dialogs.
