so now I need to make more shadow blocks, specifically sized to match the dimensions of internal shadows in walls, at the moment theres 2 or sometimes 3 doing the job of 1 along an edge, the large rectangle at the top of the area uses 8 shapes atm it could use 4 or even just 1. the t shape uses 7 where it could easily use only 2.
This will reduce load on your poor lil pc's so much I can actually get back on with putting some game in there somewhere

DOH moment, see how much faster it runs? shadow blocks in walls that would never ever occlude another open space are kinda dumb, with a little tile clineup(make black edges match up with shadow blocks that are needed).
