Tutorial 1 - The Basics
CHANGES TO CURRENT STENCYL VERSION:
- Game Center is now Dashboard
- No longer need to make Actor Behaviors; can use "Events" tab instead
- Now need to use "Add an Event" at the top left to make the headings
- If using events, do not need to "Attach to Actor" (still needed with Behaviors though)
- Collisions Groups are now in the Settings button at the top of the page
- Collisions between Actors are now handled by collision events (use "Member of Group" and change the group to "Actors")

@mwilks: It is Paint.NET, not the normal paint that comes with your computer. I briefly explain how to use it in tutorial 5.

Love this. very helpful. Question tho, what version of paint are you using? Looks like it has alot more features than mine and second you should mention how to make tilesets. Thanks in advavnce

Thank you for the tutorial! I only have one glitch - after following Tutoroial 1. My enemy does not spawn in huge numbers, only ONE enemy flies out of somewhere on the screen and nothing else happens. I can do everything else, like move my player, but apparantly there is only one enemy?
