Abigayl's Interactive Tutorials (Part 2)

Tutorial 2 - Attributes, Saving/Loading, Kongregate API
CHANGES TO CURRENT STENCYL VERSION:
- Game Center is now Dashboard
- No longer need to make Actor Behaviors; can use "Events" tab instead
- Now need to use "Add an Event" at the top left to make the headings
- If using events, do not need to "Attach to Actor" (still needed with Behaviors though)

You will likely need to take out the spaces that Stencyl puts into links and copy/paste it:

I dont know why but after the 1st tutorial everything worked to me but now the player doesnt die after colliding with the enemy,can someone please help?

I was hooked after the first tutorial, once again kudos on the interactivity of the tutorial. It appeals to all learning styles i believe, very inviting and at a do it yourself pace. Once again the few differences in the interface with the old and new version gave me a bit of confusion, although furthuring my learning experience. I got through the tutorial fairly quickly and discovered 2 bugs, which i efixed almost effortlessly since i can skip forth and back on the tutorial and everything is layed out in detail. Ive always been an artsy person and i actually was silly enough to pay thousands of dollars for a game design degree, and never up till now have i found something quite as suitable for me as this. I am overjoyed at this moment and cannot wait to get started on more of your lessons and learning about stencyl. So maybe one day my dream of stepping into the game design world will become true. Thanks !!!
